As a result, he has appeared in other films as a child actor. Her first lead role was Duti Pata of Bimal Roy. Prosenjit's groundbreaking role came to Vijeta Pandit in Amar Sangi, a highly successful romance film directed by Sujit Guha. He made his debut in Hindi cinema with director David Dhawan's Aandhiyan. In addition to appearing in a series of masala films, he began doing intermediate filmmaking with Chokher Bali, which starred Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in his first Bengali film and achieved success on critical and commercial side of release.

He began his acting career as a Bengali and Hindi child actor when he was just four years old. Since then, he's starred in films like as Dosar, Moner Manush, and Chokher Bali.
