Adrian Ballinger is a UK-US IFMGA / AMGA Certified Climbing Instructor, Certified by the American Association of Mountain Guides and Sponsored Climbers and Skiers. Ballinger is the founder and CEO of Alpenglow Expeditions and has been a full time mentor for 25 years. He has led over 150 international climbing expeditions across six continents and completed 17 successful 8,000m climbs. He is known for pioneering the use of adaptive silver for commercial shipments in early 2012, which could reduce the time normally spent on a shipment. Adrian is the only American to have completed three successful ski runs on the 8,000m high mountain, including the first descent to Manaslu from its summit. He is also the fourth American to cross both Mount Everest and K2 without using supplemental oxygen.
