Andrew James Clutterbuck, known by his stage name Andrew Lincoln, is an English actor. Her first starring role was the character Egg on the BBC television series This Life. Lincoln went on to play Simon Casey on the Channel 4 sitcom Teacher, Mark in the Christmas-themed romantic comedy Love Actually, and Dr. Robert Bridge in the ITV TV series Afterlife. As of 2010, Lincoln gained international fame for his role as Rick Grimes, the main character in the post-apocalyptic AMC horror television series The Walking Dead. As Rick Grimes, Lincoln won the Saturn Award for Best Actor in Television in 2015 and 2017. He left the cast of The Walking Dead in 2018, but plans to return to the role. Rick in The Walking Dead trilogy will be distributed by Universal Pictures.
