Richard Andrew Robinson OBE is a coach and retired player from the British Rugby League. He was football director at Bristol until November 2016. He was the former head coach of Scotland and England. As of September 2019, he is the coach of the Romanian national football team. Robinson played as the opening winger for Bath, England and the English and Irish Lion. He was England head coach from October 2004 to November 2006, then Edinburgh Rugby coach and Scotland A general manager from October 2007 to June 2009. On June 4, 2009 Robinson was appointed new Scotland's head coach. He resigned on November 25, 2012 after a 21-15 home loss to Tonga.
