Benjamin Chase Harper is an American singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Harper plays an eclectic mix of blues, folk, soul, reggae and rock and is known for his guitar, vocal, live, and active skills. He has released 12 regular studio albums, mainly through Virgin Records, and has gone on international tour. Harper is a three-time Grammy winner and seven nominee, with awards for Best Pop Instrumental Performance and Best Traditional Gospel Album of 2004 and Best Blues Album of 2013. At the Ceremony The 40th Blues Awards Music Award, Harper's co-creation with Charlie Musselwhite, "No Mercy in This Land", was named Song of the Year.
