Bill Walton
William Theodore Walton III is a former American basketball player, and is a sports and television broadcaster. He played college basketball for coaches John Wooden and UCLA Bruins, won three national varsity awards in a row, and led UCLA to the NCAA Championships in 1972 and 1973 and won a string of 88 wins. After being selected as the first pick in the 1974 NBA Draft, Walton led the Portland Trail Blazers to the NBA Championship in 1977, winning the NBA Finals MVP award that season. He won another NBA title from the Boston Celtics in 1986. Walton was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1993 .
