Carl Gustav Jung, is a Swiss psychiatrist and psychoanalyst who founded analytical psychology. Jung's work has had influence in the fields of psychiatry, anthropology, archeology, literature, philosophy, and religious studies. Jung worked as a research scientist at the famous Burghölzli Hospital, under Eugen Bleuler. During this time he was noticed by Sigmund Freud, the founder of psychoanalysis. The two had a long correspondence and cooperated for some time, on a common view of human psychology. Freud regards young Jung as the heir he has sought to continue to develop his "new science" on psychoanalysis and to this end he has been appointed president of the National Association of Psychoanalysis, your newly established economy. However, Jung's research and personal vision made him unable to follow the doctrine of his older colleague, and a schism became inevitable.
