Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor. Evans made his film debut in a wildlife educational film, and this was followed by television appearances, such as in the series Opposite Sex in 2000. Afterwards, he starred in several teen films including Not Another Teen Movie and The Perfect Score. In 2005, he gained attention for his portrayal of Marvel Comics character Human Torch in Fantastic Four, and its 2007 sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. Evans made further film appearances, which were adaptations from comic books and graphic novels, playing Casey Jones in TMNT, Jake Jensen in The Losers, Lucas Lee in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, and Curtis Everett in Snowpiercer. He gained worldwide attention for his portrayal of Steve Rogers / Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe series of films, with credited appearances and cameos in eleven films.

About Chris Evans
Best known for portraying Captain America in the Avengers and Captain America films, he has also played leading roles in the films Fantastic Four (2005), Cellular (2004), Snowpiercer (2013) and Not Another Teen Movie (2001).
He was raised Catholic and graduated from Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School. He then went on to study acting at Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.
He starred as Cary Baston on the TV series Opposite Sex in 2000.
He stars alongside Robert Downey Jr. in the Avengers films.
