He starred as Eddie Birdlace in the film adaptation of the Dogfight scene and played Fiyero Tiggular in 10th anniversary company Wicked on Broadway. In 2020, Klena was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Musical Actor for his role as Nick Healy in Jagged Little Pill, a role he started at the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 2018.
