Emilio Castillo is an American saxophone player and composer, best known as the founder of the band Tower of Power.

Founder of the R&B-based horn section and band Tower of Power. He is a multi-instrumentalist, skilled in playing saxophone, guitar, and piano.
His father made him pick something positive to do with his time, so he chose music; his first gig was playing keyboard with The Gotham City Crimefighters.
He was inspired to start a soul band after seeing The Spyders perform.
He grew up in Detroit, Michigan.
Castillo and Tower of Power are known for their renditions of Francis Scott Key's "The Star Spangled Banner" at championship playoff games for San Francisco sports teams.
