Enrique Ramírez is a Chilean artist born in 1979 in Santiago de Chile. Photographer, filmmaker, sculptor and musician, his work is well known for his films and installations around the sea, a perpetually moving memory space, a space of narrative projections where the destiny of Chile is linked to travels, conquests and migratory flows.
Mexican politician who is best recognized for having served as the 58th Governor of Jalisco. He is also known for having served as Mayor of Guadalajara and is a member of the Independent Party of Mexico.
He earned his Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the Western Institute of Technology and Higher Education. He then obtained his Master's in Urban Studies from El Colegio de Mexico in 1999. His career in politics started by working for the federal government in Urban Development in 1996 before serving as a state legislator in Jalisco in 2007.
He is known for also having served as a town councilor in Tlajomulco de Zuniga from 2003 until 2007.
He was born and raised in Guadalajara, Lajisco, Mexico and married Lorena Martinez.
