George Nganyuo Elokobi is a Cameroonian professional footballer who currently plays as a defender for Maidstone United club of the National League. Elokobi left his hometown of Cameroon for England at the age of 16, where he took part in non-league football with Dulwich Hamlet. After a period of probation, he was signed to Colchester United. He was loaned to Chester City in January 2005, where he made his professional debut, before making 46 appearances for Colchester. He was signed by Wolverhampton Wanderers in January 2008, helping the club advance to the Premier League. He became a regular player with the first team from 2009 to 2011, before being loaned to Nottingham Forest in the second half of the 2011-12 season, playing 12 league games. He was loaned to Bristol City in September 2012 but injured near the end of the season during his debut when he broke his ankle.
