Gian Pyres is an English guitarist best known for his work with the extreme metal band Cradle of Filth for which he recorded guitar for Cruelty and the Beast, Midian, Bitter Suites to Succubi and Lovecraft & Witch Hearts. He appeared on their DVD Heavy, Left-Handed and Candide, Live Bait for the Dead and Peace Through Superior Firepower, and appeared in Alex Chandon's Cradle of Fear. Additionally, he has appeared in music videos for From the Cradle to Enslave, Her Ghost in the Fog, Born in a Burial Gown and Scorched Earth Erotica. He also appeared with Cradle of Filth on BBC Living with the Enemy. Other live and recorded appearances include Ship of Fools, Solstice Lamentations EP and Halcyon, and Dragonlord as a touring guitarist.
