Glen McLeod Cooper Johnson is a former English professional footballer who mainly plays at the right-back. Johnson started his career at West Ham United, spent time on loan at Millwall and was signed by Chelsea for £ 6million following relegation from West Ham in 2003. He helped Chelsea win the Premier League. League 2004-05 and Coupe de la Ligue 2005 Final. In June 2006, Johnson joined Portsmouth on loan for the 2006–07 season. After a successful season on loan at Fratton Park, Johnson has joined Pompey on a permanent basis for a fee of around £ 4million. Johnson played 99 times for Portsmouth and appeared in the 2008 FA Cup final when Portsmouth beat Cardiff City 1-0. Johnson moved to Liverpool in the summer of 2009 for £ 17.5million. Johnson spent six seasons at Anfield with 200 appearances, including winning the 2012 League Cup final. He joined Stoke City in July 2015 on a free transfer and made 64 appearances. He played for three seasons before retiring.
