William Henry "Hank" Green II is an American vlogger, science communicator, entrepreneur, author, internet producer, and musician. He is known for producing the YouTube channel Vlogbrothers, where he and his older brother, John Green, regularly upload videos, as well as for creating and hosting the educational YouTube channels Crash Course and SciShow. He has created and hosted a number of other YouTube channels and podcasts, released music albums, and amassed a large following on TikTok. Green co-created VidCon, the world's largest conference about online videos, and the Project for Awesome, an annual online charity event, with his brother John, as well as the now-defunct conferences NerdCon: Stories, focused on storytelling, and PodCon, focused on podcasts. He is the co-creator of The Lizzie Bennet Diaries, a web series adaptation of Pride and Prejudice in the style of video blogs.

YouTube star who collaborates on the Vlogbrothers channel with his brother John Green. He and John co-created VidCon, the largest web video convention in the world. In January 2015, he received the opportunity to interview US President Barack Obama, alongside fellow YouTubers Bethany Mota and GloZell Green.
He graduated with a BS in biochemistry and a master's in environmental studies, and worked in web development for friends and neighbors.
In addition to his work in web video, he is also in a band, Hank Green and the Perfect Strangers. He and his brother have co-created many YouTube channels, including SciShow, CrashCourse, and Healthcare Triage.
He grew up in Orlando, Florida and got married to his wife Katherine in 2006. Their first child, a son named Orin, was born in October 2016.
