Ivan Reitman, is a Czechoslovak-Canadian film and television director, producer and screenwriter. He is best known for his comedy work, especially in the 1980s and 1990s. He is the owner of The Montecito Picture Company, founded in 1998. Notable films he has directed include Meatballs, Stripes, Ghostbusters, Ghostbusters II, Twins, Kindergarten Cop, Dave and Junior. Reitman has also served as producer for such films as Animal House, Beethoven, Space Jam, Private Parts.
