Jacques Brautbar
Jacques Brautbar is an American photographer, producer, writer and guitarist, formerly rock band Phantom Planet. He left the group in 2004, after their third album of the same name, to pursue a career in photography. Brautbar's photo credit includes magazines: Rolling Stone, Spin, Nylon, Jane and High Times. In the spring of 2006, Brautbar returned to music and began performing concerts with Beck, OK Go, UH HUH HER, Jack's Mannequin and electronic group Something for Rockets. Brautbar has been touring with Something for Rockets for over a year and co-authored their second album. Brautbar left the group to explore music composition and production work. In 2008, Brautbar began writing music for film and television and co-writing with other artists. He recently co-produced and co-wrote his upcoming album Beneath The Noise for Jasmine Ash, along with longtime collaborator and former band member Sam Farrar.
