Jade Amelia Thirlwall is an English singer and songwriter, known for being a member of the British four-piece girl group Little Mix. The group was formed on the eighth series of The X Factor in 2011 and became the first group to win the competition.

She auditioned for season five of The X Factor in 2008 with The Beatles' song "I Want to Hold Your Hand," but she didn't make it past Bootcamp. She auditioned again in 2010.
