Jaden Michaels is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. In her career as a songwriter, she has collaborated with some of pop music's biggest stars, including Jennifer Lopez, Demi Lovato, Carly Rae Jepsen, Jessica Mauboy, Robin Thicke, Jordin Sparks, Lea Michele, Naya Rivera, and Cher Lloyd. Both in 2012 and 2013, Michaels co-wrote one of the songs performed on the season finale of American Idol, with the latter becoming season 12 champion Candice Glover's debut single "I Am Beautiful." Her songwriting work on Carly Rae Jepsen's album Kiss received the 2013 Juno Award for "Album of the Year." She was professionally represented by Pulse Recording. She is the older sister of American singer and songwriter Julia Michaels.

About Jaden Michaels
An agent discovered her as a child after she sang karaoke at a local pizza restaurant. Shortly after she became a member of the group Mac 7, touring with stars like Orlando Brown and Lalaine. She eventually went on to attend Hollywood Pop Academy.
Her songwriting work on Carly Rae Jepsen's Kiss received the 2013 Juno Award for Album of the Year.
She and her family moved to Santa Clarita, California when she was nine years old from Davenport, Iowa.
In honor of her season twelve win, she penned "I Am Beautiful" for American Idol winner Candice Glover's coronation. The song later became her debut single.
