James Schoolcraft Sherman

James Schoolcraft Sherman was an American politician, represented the United States of New York from 1887 to 1891 and 1893 to 1909, and was the 27th Vice President of the United States from 1909 until his death in 1912. He was a member by Baldwin. Family, Hoar and Sherman, prominent New England and New York lawyers and politicians. Although not a powerful administrator, he became the chairman of the parliamentary committee of course, and his endowed personality helped to facilitate the work of the House of Representatives, thus he was called "Sunny Jim". He was the first vice president to fly on a plane, and also the first to formally throw the ball in a baseball game. Sherman was the last vice president to die in office.
