Jessica Combs is an American professional runner, TV personality, and metal builder. She set a women's speed record in 2013 and broke her own in 2016. She is known as "the fastest four-wheeled woman". She co-hosted the TV show Spike Xtreme 4x4 with more than 90 episodes from 2005 - 2009. Other TV shows she appeared on include Overhaulin ', Mythbusters, The List: 1001 Car Things To Do Before You Die, All Girls Garage and Science Channel's How to Build ... All in 2016. Combs died after crashing a high-speed jet racing car in southeast Oregon as she tried to improve her land speed record with her four-wheeler. After receiving the Guinness World Record for Land Speed in June 2020
