Justin James Watt is the winger of American football for the Cardinals of the Arizona National Football Federation. He played varsity rugby at the University of Wisconsin and was won by the Houston Texans in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft. Watt received the AP NFL Defense Player of the Year award three times at the 2011 NFL Draft. during its first five seasons. Although he is primarily defensive, he does turn to defense at times in a number of situations. He also fouled, catching 3 touches in the 2014 season. In 2014, Watt became the first player in NFL history to score more than 20 seasons in his career. He holds the Texas franchise record for sacking and forced fumbling. In 2017, Sports Illustrated named Watt Sportman of the Year.

With the Houston Texans, he was named Defensive Player of the Year in 2012, 2014, and 2015. During his successful 2012 season, he had 20.5 sacks and four forced fumbles. In 2021, he signed with the Arizona Cardinals.
