Former owner and operator of the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Wildlife Park in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, Exotic once claimed to be America's best tiger breeder. Before working with animals, he was a policeman, holding the position of sheriff in Eastvale, Texas for a short time. Exotic has had three unsuccessful races for public offices: for the President of the United States in 2016 as an Independent and for the Governor of Oklahoma in 2018 as a Liberal; in 2017, before officially entering the race for governor, he ran for president as the free party candidate for the presidency. For more than 20 years, he has been known as Joe Exotic, owner and operator of the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Wildlife Park, famous for its big cats. He ran an online reality TV show that he streamed directly from his zoo.
