About Justin Calen Chenn
Screenwriter who is best known for his work within the fantasy and science fiction film genres. In 2008, he released his first full-length film, The Way of Snow, which he wrote and directed.
He attended the Pasadena Art Center College of Design, and graduated in 2007 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in illustration. He discovered the world of filmmaking at age 24, during his time as an undergraduate.
He has served as a script consultant for the films Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny and Mechanic: Resurrection. He wrote and directed the sci-fi comedy Folklore, which gained a cult following after its video on-demand release.
He was born in Whittier, California, and raised in Taipei, Taiwan. He is a 1st generation American.
