Kari Härkönen is a Finnish former cross-country skier who competed during the early 1980s. He won two medals at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships with a gold in the 15 km in 1985 and a bronze in the 4 × 10 km relay. He was born in Ristijärvi. Härkönen also finished 13th in the 15 km event at the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo.
