He is one of the most active players in the NBA, is six feet tall and plays both a striker and a center-back. Born in Liepāja, Porziņģis began his professional career with the Sevilla team in the EuroLeague in 2012. Porziņģis quickly advanced through the youth levels of the team and became the celebrity of the senior team in 2013. By the age of 18, he became the youngest person to receive this award. The following summer, he announced he was in the NBA Draft, where he was chosen as the fourth finalist by the New York Knicks. In New York, Porziņģis shined as a star of the team, but after disagreements with the main office, was relocated to Dallas in 2019.
