Niklas Hagman is a former Finnish professional ice hockey striker. He was selected in the third round for the Florida Panthers, 70th overall, in the 1999 NHL Draft and made his National Hockey League debut against Florida in 2001. He also plays for the Stars. Dallas, Toronto Maple Leafs, Calgary Flames and Anaheim Ducks. in the NHL, Lokomotiv Yaroslavl in KHL, HIFK, Espoo Blues and Kärpät in SM-liiga and HC Davos in the Swiss National Championship A. As an outstanding international player, Hagman has represented Finland at the three season Olympics Dong, won silver medals in 2006 and bronze in 2010. He played in the Finnish team which reached the final of the 2004 World Hockey League, participated in five world championships and twice in the world youth championship, won a 1998 gold medal

His father, Matti, was the first Finnish player to play in the NHL.
His 2011-12 NHL season was turbulent, and when it was over, he signed with the Kontinental Hockey League, returning to Europe.
His son, Lukas, was born in February 2007 and his daughter, Lila, was born in September 2009, both to his wife, Piritta Hannula.
He played against Drew Doughty's Canadian hockey team in the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.
