Orson Bean is a veteran American film, television and theater actor and comedian, writer, and producer. He's a game and chat host and "backbone of the Los Angeles mini theater." He appeared regularly on several game shows from the 1960s to the 1980s and was a longtime participant in To Tell the Truth. "The quintessential storyteller", he is one of Johnny Carson's most beloved characters, appearing more than 200 times on The Tonight Show. Bean became one of the first "rookie" - famously famous - on television.
