Randal Keith Orton is an American professional wrestler and actor. He's now signed to WWE, where he plays on the Raw franchise, and is widely regarded by many as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time. Orton is a third generation professional wrestler; His grandfather was Bob Orton, his father was Bob Orton Jr and his uncle Barry Orton were both wrestlers. Before being contracted by the World Wrestling Federation, he trained and wrestled for the Wrestling Association between Missouri and Southern Illinois Conference Wrestling. He was subsequently contracted to WWF and was sent to Ohio Valley Wrestling, where he hosted the OVW Heavyweight Championship twice. He joined the Evolution team shortly after WWE's debut, which quickly led to the Intercontinental Championship, his first with the company. He also has the nickname "The Legendary Killer" in a plot where he begins to disrespect and then physically attacks veterans of WWE Hall of Fame and Wrestling.
