His roles include Samwise Gamgee in The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Mikey Walsh in The Goonies, Daniel Ruettiger in Rudy, Doug Whitmore in 50 First Dates, Bill in Click, Lynn McGill in the fifth season 24, Oso in Agent Oso, Raphael in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Bob Newby in the second and third season of Stranger Things.
