Shawn Ryan is an American screenwriter and television producer. He created and co-created a number of TV drama series, including The Shield, The Chicago Code, Last Resort, Timeless and S.W.A.T.. He also produced The Unit, Lie to Me, Terriers, and Mad Dogs.
