Francesc "Tito" Vilanova Bayó was a Spanish professional football central midfielder and manager. After a professional career which consisted of 26 La Liga matches in a combined three seasons, all with Celta, he went on to work with Barcelona as an assistant coach under Pep Guardiola, being part of the squads that won 14 titles. Vilanova was appointed first-team manager in 2012, winning the national championship in his only season. He stepped down in July 2013 due to ill health, and died the following year from cancer.

Former Spanish midfielder who scored 26 goals in his 13-year career, playing for such teams as Figueres and Elche. He served as the manager of FC Barcelona from 2012 to 2013.
He spent four years in Barcelona's youth system before debuting professionally for the club's B squad in 1988.
He received his first managerial position with Palafrugell in 2003.
He was married to Montse Chaur and he had two children: Carlota and Adria.
He coached Lionel Messi on Barcelona for a year.
