Trevor Charles Horn is an English music producer, record company and studio owner, musician, singer and bassist. He is known for his production work in the 1980s and is part of the new wave group Buggles. Horn studied bass guitar from an early age and learned the instruments and read music on his own. During the 1970s he worked as a version musician, building his own studio, writing and producing singles for a variety of artists. Horn and Downes went international in 1979 with the single Buggles "Video Killed the Radio Star". This was followed by their one-year term with progressive rock band Yes, with Horn becoming their main vocalist. In 1981, Horn became a full-time producer, working on commercially successful songs and albums for a variety of artists, including Dollar, ABC, Malcolm McLaren, Yes, and Frankie Goes to Hollywood.
