Astrology Birth Chart of Anton Chekhov

Anton Pavlovich Chekhov is a Russian playwright and short story writer considered one of the greatest novelists in history. His play as a playwright produced four classics, and his best short stories were highly regarded by writers and critics. Along with Henrik Ibsen and August Strindberg, Chekhov is often considered one of the three prominent figures of the birth of early modernism. Chekhov practiced medicine for most of his literary career: "Medicine is my legal wife," he once said, "and literature is my mistress." Chekhov abandoned the theater after taking over The Seagull in 1896, but the play was restored to a success in 1898 by Konstantin Stanislavsky's Moscow Art Theater, which went on to produce Chekhov's Uncle Vanya and the premiere of his last two productions, Three Sisters and The Cherry Field.

Among the most important dramatic realism works by a Russian dramatist and short story writer are Uncle Vanya, The Seagull, Three Sisters, and The Cherry Orchard. His writing is characterised by an objective depiction of character and a refusal to provide simple answers to questions.
