Ludwig van Beethoven is a German composer and pianist. Beethoven remains one of the most admired composers in the history of Western music; His works are among the most performed in classical music repertoire. His works include the transition from classical period to romantic period of classical music. His career is usually divided into early stage, middle stage, and late stage. The "early" period, during his forging, was generally considered to last until 1802. During this time, he became more and more deaf. During the "late" period from 1812 to his death in 1827, he extended his innovations in musical form and expression.
