Patsy Cline is an American singer. She is considered one of the most influential female singers of the 20th century and one of the first country music artists to successfully enter pop music. Cline has had several major hits during his eight-year career, including two number one hits on the Billboard Hot Country and Western Sides charts. Cline's first professional performance began on local WINC radio at the age of fifteen. In the early 1950s, Cline began appearing in a local group led by artist Bill Peer. Several local appearances have led to performances on Connie B. Gay's TV shows Town and Country. This also led to the signing of her first recording contract with the Four Star label in 1954. She achieved minor success with her first Four Star singles including "A Church, a Courtroom, Then Goodbye." And "I'll Loved and Lost Again". . However, in 1957, Cline made her first national television appearance in Arthur Godfrey's Scout Talent program.

Country vocalist best known for her 1961 smash"I Fall To Pieces", as well as other singles such as"Walkin' After Midnight". She was the first woman to be inducted as a solo artist into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
