Bruce Arthur Johnston è un musicista, cantante, cantautore, compositore e produttore discografico americano, noto soprattutto come membro dei Beach Boys dal 1965. Anche Johnston collabora. Con Terry Melcher, come duo Bruce & Terry e con la surf band Rip Chords, e scrisse la canzone di successo del 1975 di Barry Manilow, "I Write the Songs". Nato in Illinois, Johnston è cresciuto a Los Angeles e ha imparato il pianoforte classico nei suoi primi anni.
