Air Force Deputy Marshal Alan Moorehouse Charlesworth, CBE, AFC served as the senior commander in the RAF. Born in Tasmania, he graduated from Royal Military College Duntroon and served in the 2nd Light Horse Regiment in Queensland before transferring to the Air Force in 1925. Victoria.
