About Drumline 2: A New Beat
A young drummer named Dani Bolton from Brooklyn, New York decides to leave the north and come down to the dirty south where she would attend college at Atlanta A&T. Along with her many goals, she hopes to become the first female section leader of the drum line in the school's history as well as revitalizing her school's music band.

This movie is a sequel to the 2002 film Drumline. The movie received over six nominations including a nomination for Outstanding Television Movie, Mini-Series or Dramatic Special during the NAACP Imagine awards in 2015.
