He was heavily involved in organizing the Great Exhibition of 1851, with great success. Victoria is increasingly dependent on Albert's support and guidance.

In 1840, Prince Consort married Queen Victoria, his first cousin. He was involved in a number of progressive movements, including the abolition of slavery, and was crucial in the organization of the Great Exhibition of 1851.
