Astrology Birth Chart of Fanny Mendelssohn

Fanny Mendelssohn, later Fanny [Cäcilie] Mendelssohn Bartholdy and after marriage Fanny Hensel, also known as Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel, was a German Early Romance composer and pianist. His compositions include a piano trio, a piano quartet, an orchestral overture, four cantatas, over 125 piano pieces and over 250 lieders, most of which have not been published in his life. Although she is praised for her talents as a pianist, she rarely performs in public outside of her family. She grew up in Berlin and received extensive musical education from teachers including her mother, Ludwig Berger and Carl Friedrich Zelter. His younger brother Felix Mendelssohn, also a composer and pianist, shared an education and the two developed a close relationship. Due to family reservations and contemporary social conventions about the role of women, some of her works have been published under her brother's name in his Opus 8 and 9 collection

She was a German composer who was regarded as one of the most prominent female composers of her generation. Lied ohne Worte is one of her most well-known pieces (Song without Words).
