Jwala Gutta Vishal is an Indian professional badminton player. From the late 1990s, she represented India at international events in mixed content and women's doubles. She has a total of 316 wins in both disciplines - the most of any Indian - and highest of none. 6th in the world rankings. Gutta has won medals at several tournaments during the BWF Tour, including a silver medal at the 2009 Superseries Masters final and a bronze medal at the 2011 World Championship. Born in Wardha to a Chinese mother and Her father was Telugu, and she started playing badminton at a young age. The 14-time national champion, Gutta had played with Shruti Kurien earlier in her career, but achieved even greater international success with Ashwini Ponnappa. The duo consistently ranked in the top 20 in the World BWF Ranking, reaching as high as zero. Tenth 2015. Gutta is the first Indian badminton player to qualify for two events at the Olympic Games: women's doubles with Ponnappa and mixed doubles with V. Diju in London.

Indian badminton doubles player who competed in the 2012 Olympic Games for her country. She has been credited for helping to develop the sport in India, and she was a member of the first Indian doubles team to ever be placed in the top 10.
