Antony Audenshaw is an English actor best known for his role as Bob Hope on the popular ITV1 channel Emmerdale, a role he has played since 2000. In 1989 he appeared in Inspector Morse as a Clarets cricketer in "Cheated by Flight ". From 1994 in 1996 he played the recurring role of PC Ian Coban in Brookside Channel 4 appeared as an anonymous employee of the South Yorkshire Ambulance Service in the Hillsborough television series. His Emmerdale debut was in 1996, when he played the role of a security guard with Frank Tate "Acky". He hit Betty Eagleton with a cane and knocked her over. He then appeared as Bob Hope in 2000 and has been a part of the cast ever since. In December 2006, he appeared as himself alongside the other Emmerdale cast members in a celebrity version of the Family Fortunes TV show. In 2009, he appeared and won an episode of Celebrity Mastermind. His subject of expertise is “British Bird”. Audenshaw has completed ten marathons in London.

British actor best known for his role as Bob Hope in Emmerdale, a long-running British soap opera. In 2001, he was nominated for a National Television Award for Best Newcomer for his performance.
