Edward George Skrein is an English actor, director, screenwriter and rapper. He enjoyed international success with his music, before being known as an actor in independent films or television series. In the years that followed, he was known for his role as Daario Naharis in the third season of the Game of Thrones television series. Skrein was later known for his portrayal of villainous Francis Freeman / Ajax in the superhero comedy Deadpool. Skrein replaced Jason Statham in the action movie The Transporter: Refueled and went on to play the smug bounty hunter Zappan in Alita: Battle Angel. He then played the role of Lieutenant Dick Best in the war film Midway. Skrein made his directorial debut with the short film Little River Run, which he posted on his Instagram.
