Michele Waagaard Born March 7, 1980, is a Thai model, pop star, actress, VJ and Norwegian radio presenter. In 1995, she won the title Model of the Year for Thai teen magazine The Boy. Michele studied at Patana Bangkok School and graduated in Media Arts from Assumption University. In 1996, she signed a recording contract with Grammy Entertainment in Thailand. Michele and 7 other teenage girls released their Teen 8 album. After a year of traveling, the four girls in the group came together to form Thailand's first girl pop group, JAMP, Jennifer, Anna, Michele and Por. JAMP has released two albums JAMP and Bungorn ao tae dance. After years of touring, the girls broke up and left in 2001. Michele has become a full-time catwalk model. In 2002, Michele became the VJ for MTV Thailand. She hosted MTV POP with Rowena Kennett and MTV ROCK. Michele also spent a short time in Los Angeles studying at the Strasberg Lee Institute.
