Rosemary Wells is an American writer and illustrator of children's books. She is best known for the Max & Ruby series, which chronicles the daily adventures of rabbit brothers, the curious three-year-old Max and the seven-year-old dominatrix Ruby. Wells also wrote Noisy Nora, Yoko, the Journey to the Planet Bunny series, a Christmas book titled Morris's The Lost Bag, and a collection of illustrations to songs by Rodgers and Hammerstein.
