Rowena Evelyn Webster, better known as Rowie Webster, is an Australian water polo midfielder and two-time Olympic athlete. She is one of three Australian players to have played more than 300 international matches for Australia. She attended Korowa Anglican Girls' School and Arizona State University and received a BA in Physical Education in Secondary Education. When she was young she played Australian law football and was involved in nationwide surf rescue work. She started playing water polo at the age of 12. She has played for the Richmond Tigers, Victoria State University, Arizona State University and professional teams in Greece and Russia. She has represented Australia as a member of the Australian Women's National Football Team at the junior and senior levels. Webster is an Olympic bronze medalist in London, a young world champion and has been ranked among the world's top three players for two consecutive years. Rowie Webster is the current Australian women's water soccer captain.
