William Bonin
William George Bonin, also known as the Highway Killer, is an American serial killer and pardoned double sex offender who has committed rape, torture and murder. A minimum of 21 boys and young people in a series of homicides in 1979 and 1980 in southern California. Bonin is also believed to have 15 more murders. Described in his first trial by the prosecutor as "the worst villain of all time", Bonin was convicted of 14 of the murder cases relating to the "road killers" from two separate trials in 1982 and 1983. He was convicted of crossed 14 years. sentenced to death before being executed by lethal injection at San Quentin State Prison in 1996. Bonin is known as the "Highway Killer" because most of his victim's body was found along several highways in Southern California. He shares this vignette with two separate and independent serial killers: Patrick Kearney and Randy Kraft.
