Anggun Cipta Sasmi, mononym Anggun genannt, ist eine in Indonesien geborene französische Singer-Songwriterin und Fernsehpersönlichkeit. In Jakarta geboren, trat sie im Alter von sieben Jahren auf und nahm zwei Jahre später ein Kinderalbum auf. Mit Hilfe des indonesischen Produzenten Ian Antono veröffentlichte Anggun 1986 ihr erstes Rock-beeinflusstes Studioalbum, Dunia Aku Punya.
