Ritchies drittes Soloalbum "I See A Noise" wurde 1990 veröffentlicht. Seit 1998 arbeitet er mit dem amerikanischen Shakuhachi-Produzenten Ken LaCosse zusammen, um einen breiten Shakuhachi-Stil namens "Taimu" zu entwickeln. 2007 produzierte und tourte Ritchie mit der italienischen Folk / Punk-Gruppe The Zen Circus, die später in The Zen Circus und Brian Ritchie umbenannt wurde. Das erste internationale Album der Gruppe, Villa Inferno, wurde 2008 für das italienische Label Unhip Records veröffentlicht.
